周期蛋白A1(英語:Cyclin-A1,或譯為周期素A1)是一個由人類基因 CCNA1 編碼的蛋白質[1]。
該基因編碼的蛋白質屬於高度保守的周期蛋白家族,該家族成員的顯著特徵是貫穿細胞周期,其蛋白質豐度周期性地急劇改變。周期蛋白作為CDK(周期蛋白依賴性激酶)的調節因子。不同的周期蛋白表現出各自獨特的表達及降解特性,這有助於每個有絲分裂事件在時間上的協調性。周期蛋白A1表達於睪丸、大腦以及一些嚴重的白血病細胞系中,現任為其主要功能是控制減數分裂。該周期蛋白與Cdk1和Cdk2兩種激酶相結合,但這兩種激酶活性完全不相同,前者激酶活性表現於G2期,而後者激酶活性表現於S期,因此在細胞周期中調控了不同的功能。現發現這種周期蛋白可結合到重要的細胞周期調節物上,後者如:Rb家族蛋白、轉錄因子E2F1以及CDK抑制蛋白中的Kip/Cip家族[2]。
相互作用
周期蛋白A1能與E2F1[3]、CDC20[4]、視網膜母細胞瘤蛋白[3]、周期蛋白依賴性激酶2[1][5][6][7]、GPS2[8] MYBL2[6]和GNB2L1[8]發生相互作用。
