7-甲基辛酸是一種有機化合物,化學式為C9H18O2,它是異壬酸的同分異構體之一。[4]
製備
7-甲基辛酸可由7-甲基辛醇和吡啶重鉻酸鹽(或三氧化鉻[2])的氧化反應製得。[5]6-溴己酸鈉和異丙基氯化鎂反應,酸化後加水可以析出7-甲基辛酸。[6]
7-甲基辛酸甲酯在鹼性條件下水解[7],或7-甲基-7-辛烯酸在鈀碳的催化下由氫氣還原,也能得到產物。[8]
性質
7-甲基辛酸和光氣加熱反應,得到7-甲基辛醯氯;[9]在酸性催化劑的催化下,也能和醇反應生成酯。[10][11]
