豆血紅蛋白
豆血紅蛋白(英語:Leghemoglobin,也稱為「豆科血紅素」,legoglobin)是一類在豆類植物的根瘤中參與固氮作用的血紅素蛋白。它是由這些植物的根在被固氮細菌定殖後產生的,這一類細菌稱為「根瘤菌」。這是一種植物和細菌相互共生的關係:沒有根瘤菌屬(Rhizobium)細菌定殖,大豆的根不會合成豆血紅蛋白。豆血紅蛋白在化學和結構上類似於哺乳動物的血紅蛋白,並且因含有血基質也呈紅色。[1][2]
