《求聞》：COVID-19新冠疫情衝擊維基媒體社群發展；伊朗屏蔽維基百科一日 德國峰會取消
- 新冠疫情之下，伊朗當局屏蔽維基百科24小時
【北京3月3日電】伊朗當地時間3月2日下午3時30分（北京時間同日晚8時），伊朗當局開始屏蔽波斯語維基百科。這一屏蔽措施在24小時之後解除。
據監控世界網際網路審查的組織「NetBlocks」的資料顯示，這一持續24小時的屏蔽措施影響了所有伊朗電信運營商對波斯語維基百科的訪問，但其他維基媒體項目和維基百科的其他語言沒有受到影響。波斯語維基百科的手機移動版也沒有受到影響。
「NetBlocks」認為，在各類有關新冠肺炎的流言在伊朗網絡平台上大肆傳播、政要同樣受新冠肺炎感染、民眾普遍批評政府不作為的背景下，伊朗當局屏蔽維基百科的舉動跟新冠肺炎疫情下，當局試圖控制信息流動有很大關係。
美聯社報道說，此舉引發外界對伊朗政府再度全國斷網的擔憂。去年11月，伊朗政府因蔓延全國的遊行示威而決定全國斷網一星期。同在去年11月舉辦的維基百科亞洲月活動也因伊朗政府斷網，當地維基百科編者沒法編寫條目，而延長一星期的時間。

【多倫多3月4日電】今年的北美維基峰會（WikiConference North America）將在加拿大多倫多的多倫多大學舉辦。活動預計的舉辦日期是2020年10月16日至18日。這次峰會預計開支15萬美元，約合102萬人民幣。目前有關這次峰會的撥款請求還在討論中。 針對同性戀LGBT等人士的「酷兒維基百科」（Queering Wikipedia）活動預計將於5月21日至24日在奧地利東北部城市林茨舉辦。這次活動的公開報名時間到3月30日截止。目前這次活動還沒有透露出因當前肆虐全球的新型冠狀病毒COVID-19疫情而取消的消息。 此前，基金會和德國維基媒體協會宣布今年的維基媒體峰會（Wikimedia Summit）的所有線下實體會議因新冠病毒疫情而取消。

《求聞》：Wikimania延期至明年舉辦 匯總新冠疫情對維基媒體的影響
內容提要：
- 預定今年8月在泰國曼谷舉辦的Wikimania至明年，但情況仍有餘地；
- 全球多地各類維基活動大多都受新冠肺炎疫情影響嚴重，多個活動被暫停，且即使疫情好轉也難以恢復；
- 中國大陸活動將於5月恢復，台灣地區活動受影響較少，香港用戶組2月3日宣布一切活動暫停。
【北京3月20日電】原本預定2020年8月在泰國曼谷舉辦的Wikimania將因當前正在進行的新型冠狀病毒（COVID-19）疫情而延期到2021年舉辦。
在一封公開信中，維基媒體基金會執行長、執行董事凱薩琳·馬赫以「東亞-東南亞-太平洋區域合作組織（ESEAP）核心組織團隊」「維基媒體掌舵委員會」和「維基媒體基金會活動團隊」的名義，向其他維基人公布了這一決定。
2月底時，酈安治說，要在「3月底之前」作出有關Wikimania能否如期舉辦的決定。ESEAP組織也連同基金會給出聯合聲明，說有關是否延期舉辦的細節將在今後發布。凱薩琳·馬赫的這封發布在北京時間19日凌晨的公開信應該就是這幾次消息所指的正式聲明。
公開信中，凱薩琳·馬赫爾今年曼谷的Wikimania是被「延後」到明年的。至於其具體在明年何時舉辦的細節......
