克羅莫結構域染色質結構域(英語:Chromodomainchromatin organization modifier[2])是一種由40~50個胺基酸殘基組成的蛋白質結構域,往往存在於那些與染色質重塑及操控有關的蛋白質里。此結構域不管在植物及動物之中都高度保守,且在許多基因組(如小鼠)中代表了較大數量的各種蛋白質。許多包含克羅莫結構域的基因有多種可變剪接亞型,有些亞型完全把克羅莫結構域當作內含子切除出去[3]。在哺乳動物中,包含克羅莫結構域的蛋白質主要負責涉及到染色質重塑及形成異染色質區域這兩方面的基因調控[4]。包含克羅莫結構域的蛋白質亦會結合到甲基化組蛋白[5][6]且存在於RNA誘導的轉錄沉默複合物中[7]
