职业生涯
二级方程式
在梅赛德斯的运作下，安东内利并没有参加国际汽联三级方程式锦标赛，而是在2024年跳级进入了国际汽联二级方程式锦标赛。他在2024年的二级方程式锦标赛中，效力于普雷马车队。in 2024, with Prema Racing alongside 法拉利车手学院 奥利弗·贝尔曼.[6] Ahead of the season, Antonelli remarked that he "did not want to set expectations" despite early chatter of a 2025 一级方程式赛车 seat for the Italian.[7] A difficult opening Bahrain round saw Antonelli claim sole point from tenth place in the feature race, owing to a poor qualifying and the uncompetitiveness of his Prema.[8] He secured a pair of sixth place finishes in Jeddah from sixth, as Prema returned to form.[9] A sterling lap saw him second in qualifying at Melbourne,[10] but a spin whilst trying to make up ground saw him beach in the gravel during the sprint race.[11] In the feature race, he battled for the lead with Dennis Hauger, but was jumped by Isack Hadjar in the pit stops after the former crashed. Antonelli was later passed by two other drivers to end in fourth.[12]
He had a quiet weekend in Imola, but he finished in fourth again during the feature race as he fended off from Franco Colapinto.[13] In Monaco, Antonelli qualified seventh and finished fourth for the third time of asking in the sprint race.[14] In the feature race, Antonelli battled with teammate Bearman but was stuck behind Colapinto for almost the entire race, which caused him to finish in seventh.[15]
一级方程式
In 2019, the 梅赛德斯AMG车队 announced that Antonelli had joined the 梅赛德斯少年车队.[16] On 17 April 2024, Antonelli had his first test with the team by driving the 梅赛德斯-AMG F1 W12 E Performance at the 红牛赛道.[17][18] He had further tests two weeks later at 安佐与迪诺·法拉利赛道 with the W13, covering around 500 kilometres.[19] Due to poor performances by 罗根·沙俊 in 威廉姆斯车队, Antonelli was rumoured to replace him midway through the 2024年世界一级方程式锦标赛, but Mercedes denied such an early move.[20]
