腓特烈·威廉·赫波
腓特烈·威廉·赫波（英语：Frederick William Hope，1797年1月3日—1862年4月15日），英格兰人，昆虫学家，牛津大学昆虫学系创立者（参阅牛津大学自然史博物馆）。家中次子，1817年进入牛津大学基督堂学院就读，1820年毕业。后为伦敦林奈学会成员、英国皇家学会院士。1817年，开始对昆虫感到兴趣，以鞘翅目的甲虫为主，最初搜罗的昆虫包括31个大小不一的收集箱，其中有964个抽屉、存储箱、1800册图书、249个书盒和18本标本册等等。1833年后，分别成为伦敦动物学会创会会员和英国皇家昆虫学会首席财务官、主席和副主席。
