孟加拉裔英国人

孟加拉裔英国人，是移民英国的孟加拉人或者是他们的后代。孟加拉穆斯林（英语：Bengali Muslims）自1940年代起已经开始移居英国，至1970年代达顶峰。他们大多来自锡尔赫特专区，并定居东伦敦，如塔村区[1][2]。据2011年统计，该族群的人口大约50万人，并且有65%被界定为低收入家庭，是英国最贫穷的少数族群（英语：Ethnic groups in the United Kingdom）[3][4]。
