公共参与及宣传

维基百科中的女性科学家
2019年4月12日时,《华盛顿邮报》在社论对页版刊登了《The Black Hole Photo Is Just One Example of Championing Women in Science》的文章,使得大家开始关注到英文维基上较少描述女性在科学贡献的问题[51],这篇文章是由Maryam Zaringhalam和杰西·韦德共同撰写。文章中认为由于维基百科编辑之间的讨论,使得韦德之前写的一些女性科学家条目无法留在维基百科[52][53]。当时韦德已经写了上百篇女性科学家的条目,其中也有部分条目遭到删除[54]。

奖项及荣誉
