OStatus是聯合微博客的開放標準，允許一個網站上的用戶與另一個網站上的用戶傳送和接收狀態更新。[1]
該標準描述了如何使用一系列開放標準，包括Atom、Activity Streams、WebSub、Salmon、WebFinger[2]，從而使不同的微博伺服器能夠幾乎即時地更新用戶狀態。
