北美山區時區2021年12月30日上午10:30[2]，美國科羅拉多州圓石縣發生兩起山火。兩場火災分別被當地消防部門命名為馬歇爾大火（Marshall Fire）和中叉大火（Middle Fork Fire）[3]。
時間線
其中一場大火在影響下很快朝東蔓延，並促使蘇必利爾以及路易斯維爾和布隆菲的數萬人撤離[1][4]。風速一度達到每小時115英里（185公里/小時），到下午5點，受火災波及的範圍估計為1,600英畝（650公頃）[5]，到12月31日上午10點增加到6,200英畝（2,500公頃）[6]。
影響
截至2022年1月1日晚，估計有包括房屋、一家酒店和至少一個購物中心在內的991座建築因馬歇爾大火而被燒毀，另有127座建築受損[7]。為了應對大火，州長賈雷德·波利斯在大火發生後的當天下午3點15分左右宣佈進入緊急狀態。不久中叉大火得到控制[8][2]。
此外傑斐遜縣也受到火災波及[9]。在阿瓦達，由於大風吹塌了一家折扣輪胎店，導致有6人受傷，在圓石縣，至少有6人被燒傷[6][10]，有3人失蹤[11][12]，並被推定死亡[13]。科羅拉多州交通局關閉了多條車道和道路；戈爾登至喬治敦路段的36號美國國道雙向關閉，莫里森附近的科羅拉多州470號公路完全關閉[6]。科羅拉多州93號公路在上午晚些時候臨時關閉了40分鐘[6]。
