提議廢除Persondata

對於Persondata，在Wikipedia:Persondata中是這樣描述的：

個人資訊為元數據的特殊設定，只能被加在傳記類條目中。它含有一個人的相關資訊（名字、名稱縮寫、生卒年月日，以及出生地等）。這樣的標記可以讓原維基能夠快速地擷取一個人的標準化個人資料，並將人物進行分類以及統計分析。

我不知道這個項目的實際運作情況如何。單就{{Persondata}}這個模板本身來看的話，還是存在不少問題的。

1. {{Persondata}}所產生的元數據是不可見的。萬一某一位編輯者出現了手誤，後面的編輯者很難及時發現並修正。
2. {{Persondata}}中的各個字段的填寫方式不符合日常的文法。比如，「姓名」字段要用半角逗號把姓和名隔開，且一定要按照姓在前名在後的格式填寫（外國人名一般習慣於名在前姓在後）；「出生/逝世日期」也不能按照「YYYY年MM月DD日」的格式填寫，等等………大多數編輯者對此都知之甚少，所以使用的時候很容易出錯。

綜上所屬，再加上現在已經有更方便的維基數據來代替Persondata的功能，所以我提議徹底廢除Persondata，具體可分為以下幾個步驟進行（以下需要有權限的用戶配合處理）：

1. 創建過濾器，禁止在新建條目中加入{{Persondata}}。
2. 申請機械人，批量清理{{Persondata}}的鏈入頁面（參見en:User:Kasperbot）。
3. 待鏈入頁面清理完成後，徹底刪除{{Persondata}}模板及相關項目頁面。

英語維基百科已經於去年廢除Persondata，他們的具體實施步驟可以拿過來參考。

各位對於Persondata是否應該被廢除有什麼看法？

Persondata本來就是給機器看的，不是給人看的，必然有固定格式才能讓機器看懂。其他同意，廢除Persondata--百無一用是書生 (☎) 2016年11月2日 (三) 02:05 (UTC)

The question of whether to delete {{Persondata}} has been visited in the past, the motivation being that Wikidata (and infoboxes) now provides better functionality, making Persondata obsolete. The main concern from the last RfC was that it was too soon, and that the info from Persondata should be copied to Wikidata before any deleting should be considered. Since then, a TfD ruled the template deprecated, but as there were only 4 users participating (compared with the ~50 users in the RfC) no action was put in motion to stop adding new templates.

In the meantime, PLbot has now copied all of |SHORT DESCRIPTION= to Wikidata (link). In various conversations, all other fields of Persondata have been argued to be too unreliable for any meaningful use. The bot request for copying the data to Wikidata is closed (archived), and Wikidata isn't interested in the remaining Persondata fields.

哈哈哈，終於想到這個問題。how to do that? 不考慮導入到D區，直接用AWB移除？還是導入了再移除？——路過圍觀的Sakamotosan 2016年11月16日 (三) 08:43 (UTC)

如何廢除Persondata

Template:Persondata在上次討論中已經被廢除，但很多頁面依然保留這一模板。個人認為我們可以先初步通過簡單的mw:Manual:Pywikibot/template.py來移除所有有英語對應條目的條目中的Persondata模板（因為英文維基百科已將相關template中的信息移入Wikidata中）（見Wikipedia:機械人/申請/Eflybot），然後在看看剩下的條目如何將信息移至Wikidata中。--eflyjason（留言） 2017年12月29日 (五) 09:10 (UTC)
