4,4'-二甲基聯苯是一種有機化合物,化學式為C14H14。它可由4-溴甲苯在雙(1,5-環辛二烯)鎳存在下偶聯得到。[2]
反應
它和溴在碘催化下於二氯甲烷中反應,可以得到2-溴-4,4'-二甲基聯苯。[3]它和乙酰氯在三氯化鋁存在下反應,可以得到2,3'-二乙酰基-4,4'-二甲基聯苯。[4]
