臭氧化鉀是一種無機化合物,化學式為KO3。它是橙紅色的四方晶系晶體,空間群I4/mcm。[7]
製備
臭氧化鉀可由氫氧化鉀和臭氧反應得到,[1]但產率很低,只有5-10%。[8]
- 6 KOH + 4 O3 → 4 KO3 + 2 KOH·H2O + O2
超氧化鉀用臭氧-氧氣的混合物(體積比2:98)進行臭氧化,也能得到臭氧化鉀。[9]
- KO2 + O3 → KO3 + O2
性質
- 4 KO3 + 2 H2O → 4 KOH + 5 O2↑
臭氧化鉀不穩定,在室溫時即可緩慢分解:[1]
- 2 KO3 → 2 KO2 + O2↑
它易溶於液氨,並有部分緩慢反應:
- 2 KO3 + 2 NH3 → NH4O3 + KNH2
