文化經濟學 是經濟學的一個分支,研究文化對經濟成果的影響。主要研究問題包括文化是否影響經濟成果、文化對經濟結果影響的程度,以及它與社會制度之間的關係。[1][2][3][4]
主題包括藝術和文學作品,[5] 宗教,[6][7] 社會規範,[8] 社會資本,[9][10]以及形形色色的社交網絡[11][12] 。一個普遍的問題是行為和思想是如何通過協同學習之類的過程中傳播的,這也是社會進化理論以及信息從眾理論的研究重點 [13][14]
研究方法包括案例研究以及各種文化傳播的理論和經驗模型。這種研究的範圍不僅在社區內,甚至跨越了不同的社區。[15][16][17][18]
