Exmor
Exmor是索尼公司應用在其部分CMOS圖像傳感器上的技術名稱。其可以實現片上模數轉換以及錯行像素的兩步降噪並行處理。
Exmor R則是索尼的Exmor的背照式傳感器版本[1]。索尼公司於2008年6月11日發布Exmor R,其也是世界上首個量產型背照式傳感器技術[2] 。索尼聲稱Exmor R約可達到傳統前照式傳感器(front illuminated sensor)兩倍靈敏度。這類有源像素傳感器在一些索尼出品的拍照手機與相機中有應用,甚至蘋果公司的iPhone 4S與iPhone 5中也有應用[3][4] 。Exmor R傳感器有助於幫助智能手機在低照度環境下獲取高分辨率視頻或靜止圖像。
很長一段時間,Exmor R僅被使用在較小的圖像傳感器類型中,如應用在攝像機、緊湊型相機以及智能設備上,而隨着2015年6月,索尼ILCE-7RM2的發布,也意味着Exmor R型號傳感器登陸全畫幅領域。
2014年11月,索尼公司宣布了新型的Exmor RS,為具備內置相位對焦點的積層型CMOS傳感器,具備高速自動對焦能力[5]。
