The eye is divided into a small front (anterior) segment, in front of the lens, and a large rear (posterior) segment, behind the lens. The anterior chamber is the light gray area at the top of this illustration.

前房積血（hyphema）指眼睛的角膜前房因積血而導致眼角膜泛紅，眼角膜也可能腫脹。通常因受到撞擊而導致眼角膜前房積血。前房積血可能導致暫時性失明。需要醫藥治療否則可能導致永久性失明。
