麦凯布-蒂勒方法
麦凯布-蒂勒方法(英语:McCabe–Thiele method)被视为分析双成份蒸馏最简易且最具启发性的方法。[1][2][3]本方法利用于每个理论塔板(气液平衡板)上的组成皆可由其中一成分之摩尔分数决定,且建立在等摩尔流率的假设之上。欲达成等摩尔流率之假设,则需满足下列条件:
本方法由沃伦·李·麦凯布及欧内斯特·蒂勒两人率先于1925年发表。[4]当时,麦凯布与蒂勒两人都在麻省理工学院任教。蒂勒于该年完成科学博士学位,并从该校毕业。[5]至于拥有密西根大学硕士的麦凯布则在麻省理工学院担任预约教员,随后返回密西根大学,并于1928年取得其博士学位。[6]
