罗伯特·詹姆士·狄克森

罗伯特·詹姆士·狄克森（英语：Robert James Dixson ，1908年5月23日—1963年2月1日），美国作家。他著有多本英语学习书籍，其著作《Essential Idioms in English for the Foreign Born》（狄克森片语）有多种繁体中文译本。

1950年代初，他从纽约市迁往佛罗里达州。 1963年，他于美国佛罗里达州的科勒尔盖布尔斯市（Coral Gables）过世。

狄克森著作英语学习书籍，也与他人合作写书。编撰主旨在于帮助读者学习或改善美式英语的文法、用语和发音。其著作有多种译本，虽然原文版本已能满足阅读目的，但是在不同国家重新出版时，出版商都加入了翻译注释，以提升易读性。
