小威廉·詹姆斯·米切尔（英语：William James Mitchell），是美国电子游戏玩家和餐饮家。 他在1980年代街机游戏黄金时代期间举世闻名。
在1999年，米切尔成为第一个在街机游戏吃豆人中获得3,333,360点完美得分的人。[1]双银河和吉尼斯世界纪录将米切尔列为吃豆人和大金刚等经典游戏的世界纪录持有人，并且他还出现在有关电子竞技和复古游戏的多部纪录片中。在2007年纪录片金刚之王：一手硬币中，在受到新人史蒂夫·维比的挑战后，他试图在大金刚上保持最高分数。[1]
在2018年，双银河成员发现米切尔为《大金刚》提供的影片中存在问题，这表明他可能使用了模拟器来伪造自己的得分[2] 。因此双银河和吉尼斯世界纪录都判定米切尔的所有记录无效，但米切尔成功在2020年6月上诉吉尼斯的决定。[2]但双银河并没有撤回他们的决定，因此米切尔在2020年对双银河提出诽谤诉讼[3]，而双银河则反诉米切尔。双方于2024年和解，双银河将米切尔的成绩发布在“历史排行榜”上，唯双银河仍然禁止其录入目前的排行榜[4][5][6]。
此外，米切尔的家人在佛罗里达州好莱坞市和彭布罗克派恩斯经营餐厅。[7][8]
荣誉
1984年1月14日，米切尔被双银河和美国国家电子游戏团队评选为1983年“年度电子游戏玩家”之一[9]。
2006年6月21日，音乐电视网将米切尔评选为“有史以来十大最具影响力的电子游戏玩家”之一[10]。
