1595年－1598年法西战争是法国宗教战争的一部分，西班牙的腓力二世在法国内乱时趁机攻入法国，法王则向仍在抗拒王权或处于西班牙占领下的地区发起进攻。

1595年6月5日，王军在丰坦弗朗赛斯战役中获得重大胜利并攻入弗朗什-孔泰。1596年1月马耶那正式降服； 亨利四世以武力威胁或以礼相待，向神圣联盟的其他首领软硬兼施，逼他们息兵求和；他更利用西班牙出现的经济危机，1597年先在亚眠围城战中从西班牙人手中夺回了亚眠，又在1598年和西班牙签订《韦尔万和约》，结束法西战事。
