建五（Rho1 Sagittarii，拉丁化）是人马座的一颗恒星[13]，是位于人马座南侧的一颗变星变星。它具有白色色调，肉眼可见，视星等在3.93左右变动[2]。根据视差，这颗恒星距离太阳系大约127光年[1]，并以+1.2公里/秒的径向速度远离太阳系[5]。它位于黄道附近，因此可以被月球掩蔽[14]。此外，太阳系的行星如水星与金星等也可能遮掩它，但这现象非常罕见。下一次被行星遮掩将发生在2046年2月23日，人马座ρ¹被金星遮掩。

这个天体的恒星分类为A9IV[3]，匹配远离主序带演化成为次巨星。这是一个低振幅的盾牌座δ型变星，范围从3.94到3.90星等，周期为0.05天[4]。这颗恒星的年龄为8亿9300万年[9]，并且以68公里/秒的投影旋转速度旋转[11]。它的质量是1.9倍太阳质量[7]，和半径3.3倍太阳半径[8]。这颗恒星来自光球辐射的光度是太阳光度的31倍，表面的有效温度为7,469K[8]。
