以色列体育是以色列民族文化的重要组成部分。足球是以色列最受欢迎且最为普及的项目。以色列已经在奥运会的柔道、皮划艇、帆船项目取得了八块奖牌。以色列人鲍里斯·格尔凡德赢得了2009年国际象棋世界杯。以色列另外两项有悠久传统的体育项目是网球和撑杆跳。以色列在1954年加入亚足联，但在1974年因政治原因而被逐出亚足联，并在1992年加入欧足联。以色列参加了1970年世界杯足球赛。以色列国家游泳队也有一定实力。
