核形蟲綱(Cristidiscoidea或Nucleariae)是真菌總界下的一個演化支,與後孢菌(真菌所屬類群)為姐妹群。由於核形蟲接近,但又位於真菌與動物主要分支之外,對核形蟲綱的研究可以提供關於這些類群的不同生活方式,以及後鞭毛生物與黏菌多細胞化演化過程的重要訊息[1]。
