威廉·C·柴提克 (英語：William C. Chittick, (1943-06-29) 1943年6月29日) 是一位美国的哲学家、作家、伊斯兰古典哲学与神秘学文献的翻译家与口译员。他因关于鲁米与伊本·阿拉比的研究著作而闻名，著述了大量关于伊本·阿拉比的学说以及伊斯兰哲学和宇宙学的著作。

柴提克的妻子是日裔伊斯兰研教法学家村田幸子，两人都在德黑兰大学取得了波斯文学博士，现在也都在石溪大学任教。

个人经历

1943年，柴提克出生于康涅狄格州的米尔福德，本科毕业于俄亥俄州的伍斯特学院的历史学系。1964年至1965年期间，他在黎巴嫩的贝鲁特美国大学学习伊斯兰教历史。在贝鲁特美国大学，他对苏菲主义产生兴趣，并参加了当时在该校担任客座教授的赛义德·侯赛因·纳斯尔（波斯語：سید حسین نصر‎）举办的公开讲座。

1966年，柴提克抵达伊朗，在德黑兰大学攻读波斯文学博士。1974年，他在纳斯尔的指导下，于伊朗德黑兰大学取得了波斯文学的博士学位。此后他在谢里夫理工大学教授比较宗教学，并于1978年加入了伊朗帝国哲学学术院。

1979年，在伊斯兰革命爆发前夕，柴提克不得不与妻子村田幸子一起离开了伊朗。
