勒内·夏尔（法語：René Char，法语发音：[ʃaʁ]，1907年6月14日—1988年2月19日）是法国诗人和法国抵抗运动成员。
夏尔出生于法国沃克吕兹省的索尔格河畔岛，[1]是埃米尔·夏尔和玛丽·泰雷兹·鲁格四个孩子中最小的一个，父亲是沃克吕兹石膏厂的市长和总经理。他的童年在Névons度过，然后在阿维尼翁的学校里作为寄宿生学习，在1925年成为马赛商业学校的学生，在那里他阅读了普鲁塔克、弗朗索瓦·维永、拉辛、德国浪漫派、阿尔弗雷德·德·维尼、热拉尔·德·奈瓦尔和夏尔·波德莱尔。他身材高大（1.92米），是一名活跃的橄榄球运动员。在卡瓦永短暂工作后，1927年他在尼姆的炮兵部队服役。
