English: Forelimb of an indeterminate Moroccan plioplatecarpine skeleton, possibly Gavialimimus almaghribensis or an unnamed species (according to Yang, 2022), in the collection of the National Museum of Natural Science (Taichung, Taiwan) and was on display in the National Taiwan Museum and was on display during a special exhibition.

However, the first scientifically reported "sea monster" was indeed a giant finned lizard unearthed in the mid-18th century, when the prehistoric giant fossils were considered mythical creatures.
