English: The altar painting in the Kuopio Cathedral. According to Mr. Pekka Vähäkangas, Mr. Johan Vilhelm Snellman may have been the writer of the art evaluation written in Saima newspaper. According to the evaluation the altar painting is like a relief and reminds of scultures, which deminishes its power. However, the altar painting is painted in a strong way and it is one of the most beautiful paintings in the North. Camera: Canon EOS 350D, Sigma Zoom Lens 28–70 mm 1:2.8.
